Synopsis:

After becoming America’s sweetheart for foiling a terrorist plot at the Miss United States pageant, Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is now a household name—and the FBI's most reluctant celebrity. To capitalize on her fame and soften the Bureau’s image, she’s sidelined from fieldwork and turned into a public relations figurehead, complete with a new wardrobe, a glam squad, and a ghostwritten memoir.

But Gracie’s polished new life is shaken when her best friend—former pageant winner Cheryl Frasier—and emcee Stan Fields are kidnapped in Las Vegas. Though the FBI wants her to stay out of it and maintain her polished public persona, Gracie refuses to sit still while her friends are in danger.

Teaming up with tough, no-nonsense agent Sam Fuller (Regina King), who has zero patience for Gracie's sparkle and sass, the unlikely duo dive into Vegas's flashy, chaotic underworld. From drag shows and Elvis impersonators to high-stakes casino drama, Gracie and Sam navigate a wild trail of clues with more bickering than bonding—at least at first.
