Known predominantly as the character behind the ‘Most irritating advert’ with his boundless energy and oversized comedy moustache, what many do not know is that welsh singer Wynne Evans is a bona fide opera singer associated with Welsh National Opera for 15 years and has worked as a principal at English National Opera, the Royal Opera House and other opera houses worldwide. Wynne is also Professor of Singing at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

A Song In My Heart reintroduces many Mario Lanza classics Wynne loved as a child, to today’s audience, newly arranged by orchestrator Nick Dodd. Popular arias like "Nessun Dorma" and "Tosca", as well as some beautiful Neapolitan songs are included along with "Over There", the original song to the famous advertising jingle which has made Wynne a household name and which in fact is a famous American World War One song.
